Designer Lauren Walters, a.k.a. Lew Lew! She graduated in May 2015 from SUNY New Paltz with a BFA in Graphic Design and a Psychology minor. Lew enjoys sketching, gardening, baking, interior design, tennis, dance, music and antique restoration. She grew up in Syracuse, New York and honestly thought snow was a normal commodity. She spent her childhood dancing with the Syracuse City Ballet and later spent high school restoring her family’s 1925 Arts and Crafts home. Which is also when she discovered graphic design. During the summer of 2014, Lew interned as a graphic designer at the nonprofit Redhouse Arts Center in Syracuse, New York.
As of late, her design interests lie in interaction, concrete poetry, psychology and art, conscious design, user experience, installation design and antique restoration.
Lew’s goal as a designer, and as a person, is to help others in any way she can. She wishes to change the world, even if that means just one person’s world. Outside of doing freelance, Lew continues her thesis of Lyme Disease awareness and support, impacting people worldwide.
