I am an Art Director and Designer, with a passion for helping others. New to the Washington, DC area—I am looking for more ways to get involved with the DMV community. Recently I was chosen to participate as Team Lead for AIGA’s 2023 DC CreateAthon, serving local nonprofits.
In the past, I have worked as a Graphic Designer, Art Director and Social Media Manager in the nonprofit sector, salvaged antiques, luxury resort wear and bespoke fashion. I attended the State University of New York at New Paltz, where I studied art, graphic design and psychology. My goal as a Designer is to use my creative expertise to inspire, educate, connect and assist others in any way I can.
To further my knowledge on inclusive practices, I am currently enrolled in W3Cx’s Web Accessibility class and American Sign Language classes.
Testimonial from Susan G.; “Lew Lew Design was commissioned to create a fresh new logo for my established business Red Hot Restoration. Lauren designed a gorgeous logo that expresses my company’s professionalism while keeping a personal and classic feel. The design translates beautifully on business cards, letterhead, tag signs and even large display signs equally well. Lauren was very easy to work with and accomplished all my seemingly odd requests without complaint. I highly recommend Lauren at Lew Lew Design for anyone looking for a fresh, yet classic approach to their business and design.“
